I love this story, Mary. The reality that thoughtfulness and empathy for others can be as easy as putting a puppy into someone's arms is just what we need to remember. I love that it came so naturally to these kids. ❤️

Wonderful, Mary. I see the scene as a short and touching video through your writing. The vision of the children running to retrieve the puppies is vivid, as is the visitors’ reaction and dismay at the range of practical and loving concern by the Yoders.
