The Amish neighbors are amazing people. Kind and hard-working. Puts us English to shame.

Your magnetism for animals is hilarious and a little spooky.

Love your true stories …. You could not make them up!

Thank you for starting my day with a smile. I have a good friend who has a similar effect on animals, she is like their fairy godmother and they all know it. The first time she came to visit my place, Bits, the most independent of my three cats came and immediately laid at her feet rolling over to show her tummy. That has never happened before with anyone else and I was non-plussed. My animals look forward to seeing her as much as human children do a visit from their grandma.

Your story of the barn walking down the road is a vision that will stay in my mind and heart for a long time. We humans can learn so much from each other and what amazing things could be accomplished with that kind of focus and cooperation, truly a message for all of us. :)

Wonderfully written story! We live amidst a Minnesota Amish community, just across the border from Iowa. We’ve witnessed some awesome things coming down the road too, though usually with horse power!
